Casey’s path to midwifery started early, attending the prenatal visits and home births of her five younger siblings. She went on to graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri State University in 2010. She practiced medical-surgical nursing for a year and then moved onto labor and delivery where she cared for both low and high risk women. She also occasionally assisted at home births with a private practice. In 2017, Casey graduated with honors from Frontier Nursing University with her Master of Science in Nursing and is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She then served women and their families as a midwife at a freestanding birth center.
Casey believes the best birth experience is where your voice is heard. Casey brings a strong foundation to helping you achieve unmedicated childbirth if you desire and equally loves supporting women planning epidurals or cesarean birth. Casey also enjoys being “with woman” as a midwife by providing evidence based care throughout the lifespan for well-woman and problem visits. You are an expert on your own body and experiences, so Casey desires that you leave your visit confident in your individualized plan!
